The 3rd Tuesday of each month, Newcomer's members  have an opportunity to participate in tours of places of interest in the  surrounding area. Members sign up at the monthly Coffee or notify group  chairpersons at least one week in advance. We limit travel to no more than a two  hour radius and carpool as much as possible.  Also, we try to find  unique places for lunch near the tour sites. Besides getting to learn more about  the area, this is a really fun way to get to know other members and make new friends.

Some recent tours have included visit to Amish  country in Tennessee, Cathedral Caverns near Lake Guntersville, walking tours of Huntsville, Antebellum homes near Nashville and a unique boat tour on the  Tennessee River in Chattanooga.
